What makes a landing page more expensive?
The number of sections is only one part of the scope. Writing the offer, designing original visuals and connecting lead routing all take work. Ask whether the quote includes these tasks or assumes you supply finished assets.
Describe the conversion path before choosing features. A contact form that sends an email is a different task from qualifying a lead, updating a CRM record, booking a meeting and handling failed submissions.
What should you agree before commissioning it?
Name one primary goal, provide the required sections and list the integrations. Confirm who supplies copy, photography, translations and access to accounts.
The handover should explain who owns the domain, the site and the platform account, how to edit content, and which testing and revision rounds are included. Ask for a separate price for ongoing changes.
When is a larger website a better fit?
A landing page can present one offer clearly. If each service needs its own explanation, case studies or search landing page, plan a small business website instead. This avoids forcing unrelated information into a single page.
