Who maintains the calculator?
SiteCost is maintained by Neaptide. It is free to use, and the project enquiry links lead to Neaptide. This commercial relationship is part of the tool; SiteCost is not an independent marketplace or agency ranking.
The methodology documents model assumptions and their limits. Worked examples show calculations and should not be read as completed customer projects.

Privacy and measurement
Estimates are calculated in your browser. PDF reports are generated in your browser too. Sharing an estimate puts its project options in a public URL; do not add confidential information to that link.
SiteCost uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits. When custom event collection is enabled, calculator actions are recorded with basic scope choices such as website type, design, technology, currency and feature count. These events do not include your name, email, telephone number or the text of a project brief.
Clicking a Neaptide enquiry link passes the selected project options and a model estimate to Neaptide in the URL. A click is not a submitted enquiry. Your theme choice is stored locally in this browser.
